You can now view logs for any Cloud Container or Cloud Container Server alongside all your other data in the metrics interface. Filter by server, by Container, and by any timespan from the last five minutes to the three months. We released v0.7.0 of GoSH, our Golang client library. It's a major expansion of API coverage, introducing more endpoints and functionality coverage, as well as fixing some bugs.
We've released version 2.0.0 of our Terraform Provider, making use of the updated GoSH package and SiteHost API v1.5. You'll get more reliable server provisioning, and properly restored job polling after server deletes or upgrades. The change locks the provider to SiteHost API v1.5, meaning the API version can no longer be changed.
We've added a quick way to visualise your Cloud Container server's disk allocation in the Control Panel. Disk Usage Breakdown shows how much of your server disk space is used by files, docker images and databases.
We've made some tweaks to make the ABN/ACN validation process since we became an auDA accredited registrar, making .au domain registrations more painless.
We've added support for creating, deleting and modifying NS records from the DNS Zones tab in the Control Panel. This lets you delegate subdomains to another provider (as is often required by managed email platforms) without leaving the DNS Zones tab.
We've become auDA accredited, meaning we can register .au domains for you without having to go through a reseller. Any .au domains registered by us before the end of 2025 will now show Webslice as the registrar. Read about our auDA accreditation in the blog.
We’ve improved the dropdown field to select contacts when editing a domain. It’s now a full text search field that loads gradually, making it faster and easier to find contacts, even if you have hundreds or thousands on your account. This change should make managing your domain contacts much smoother.
As explained in the blog, there was a time when we applied monitoring alerts to all Cloud Containers, even unmanaged ones, so we could keep a close eye on the platform. That's no longer necessary, so we're taking this internal monitoring off unmanaged Cloud Containers. Newer containers, managed servers, and alerts and monitoring that you have set up for yourself are all unaffected. As always you can add your own monitoring or add Server Management today.
MariaDB 11.8 is now available as an integrated database option for Cloud Containers. You can select it as a database host directly from the Add Databases page, giving you access to the latest features and improvements in MariaDB.
The SiteHost Dockerhub account now contains public versions of our latest PHP web images, integrated database images, and our pma image. Each one matches a Cloud Container image, with all the essential files baked in. The blog has more news and the Knowledge Base explains how to use these images to develop websites in a local environment that matches production Cloud Containers as closely as possible.
